Dr. Michael Paulson received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology in 1970 from the University of North Dakota. He completed his predoctoral internship at the Norfolk Regional Center in Nebraska. He is licensed as a psychologist in both North Dakota and Minnesota. He was a postdoctoral fellow for a year at the Rutgers Medical School Mental Health Center and he has also been a postdoctoral trainee at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic. Dr. Paulson was the chief psychologist at a large Human Service Center for many years and has been a practicing clinical psychologist for a total of 43 years. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of North Dakota Medical School.
Dr. Paulson offers a general practice specializing in adult individual and couples counseling. He is especially interested in treating anxiety, depression, and sexual dysfunction but treats a wide variety of problems in addition to these.
