Steven Meek, M.D.

Board-Certified Psychiatrist

The first facet of my view of practice is a patient centered care. Upholding a collaboration with practitioners and patients to support decisions with patients’ wants, needs, and view-goals. I know people need to actively participate in their own medical treatment in close cooperation with the health professionals.

The second facet is the biopsychosocial model. This is a full awareness that attributes disease process to the characteristics of the biological, (genetic, biochemical,) psychological, (thoughts, personality) and social, (familial and socioeconomic.)
